The first 6th character in Sentai history
Maskman fans who got through 39 episodes would remember an odd-looking green Maskman character. Yes, people, meet X1 Mask.
Designation: X1 Mask
Real Name: Asuka Ryoo
Fil Name: Roy
Powers: can't remember [I bet it wasn't interesting]
So what's the story of this guy. He is actually the first Maskman, a prototype of the 5 multi-colored Maskman. Unfortunately, his wife was kille by one of the Dogler monsters and that was the beginning of the end of his career as a Maskman. But in episode 39, he reappears and helps the Maskman in fighting one particular Dogler monster. Sadly, he loses all his Aura powers in the end.
X.S. This character appeared only once but this was the start of the concept of a 6th character in Sentai history. I guess we could say he is the ancestor of Tommy, the Green Power Ranger. Nice!
